Well done on win Sylvia. I too don't know how it works but have seen them.
Sylvia sorry to hear about your book win and your hands. I know how it feels.

Also well done in book win Fire Fly.

Well pleased you had good weekend Sheils. We went to the coast and were out and about on Saturday and did a walk on Sunday. We were due to drive home yesterday but wind and rain put us off. We came home this afternoon when the raining had stopped. We were lucky as its been pouring since we unloaded the car.

Indie sorry to hear about your fence. Hope you have been able to fix it.

Alfiie great your puddly is fine now. I really hate it when it's windy. Can't understand the people who go so near the sea when it's bad.

Rose hope your finger is healing and you having some good nights sleep.

Wingo just so pleased your DD1 had a good visit to the college. Only one and a half terms to go for her at that terrible school.

Just gone through loads of emails and found a WEM to say I have won an Everest DVD. I don't usually go in for DVDs but thought this might be interesting.

Well no pancakes here tonight. Something I could never make. Well done Sylvia on diet. We need to try eating a bit healthier. Well done on your cleanser FIre Fly. I wouldn't like doing that but I am sure it is good for you.

Well hope everyone is having some better weather good by Imogen.

I've been tossing pancakes too! I've stopped for now as DD gone to gymnastics but wants another when she comes in later and DD1 & DS said they might want some more! :o

I did get my parcel today thanks fire**fly :) Hope you feel fresher after the cleanse :) Enjoy your pancakes!

Well done on the roku streaming box Sylvia :T We have one but I paid to have it upgraded so we could get all the movies and sports on. They are good as there are films on it that are on the pictures or some that haven't even been on pics yet! The down side of it is that the kids can never decide in our house which movie we are all going to watch! If you know someone who can add everything on its worth it. I paid £20.

Leanfun, well done on the Everest DVD :j That does look a good film but I haven't watched that yet but I've seen it on the streaming box.

Love the wine pic Sheils :) Raisins always remind me of rabbit poo though! :D Hope the weather is ok for you.

Glad things have calmed down your way Alfie, poor cat must be scared! Jasper was howling early this morning which is something he never normally does! DD has got a great video of him on something called dub smash which is like a voice over and sounds like jasper talking and then laughing!

Wow Rose, you were up early today! Hope the finger has healed now xx

I know how you feel April, wins are few and too far between now. I'm thinking of changing my email addy to see if that helps!

Only two more working days then a course on Friday for teachers training day then a week off...woohoo!

    Thanks everyone re win.

April and Wingo do hope you have a win soon.

I am very pleased. At the end of last week I had one of those moments and left a pan on the gas. It has a steamer on top. Well I did ask DH to have a look at it but he only hears some of what is said. Well pan was well burnt. All the smell and steam went into top. Over the weekend I left it soaking in vinegar and DH now has it back to normal. It's just the right size for us and I've not seen another one like it. DH and DS chose a Viners set of pans from Bid TV must be over 10 years ago and these two came with it.

Your pancakes sound great Wingo. Yummy.

Vinegar is brilliant for loads of thing syvlia.I use it for inside my window and the glass panels on my doors. Have even used it in my shower. I put it down the water outlet and it seems to break up ant scum that gathers in it then put hot water down. It is tipping it down again here. I am hoping it is off for a while tomorrow as it would have been my dads birthday so Having a trip to the cemetery. Neighbour brought me over the flowers she made up for me from her florists to save me having to go there in the morning.
  • Vinegar is so useful!

Well done on the win leanfun - Everest looks a bit tense for me!

Hoping for nicer weather for you tomorrow rose, and thinking of you x

I remember my mum washing our hairs in vinegar as a child if we caught nits! Funny though, we rarely did catch them so must have worked!

I've burnt most of my fave pans too leanfun and some have never gone back to normal.
