Well been a windy night here but not raining at the moment!


Wingo they have a few engines at Steam railway and the one we were on didn't have that much damage just a bit of the "bumper bit" hanging off! (you can tell how technical I am)


Leanfun, sounds like you have been having a good time. It is annoying trying to spend points sometimes. I mainly use Intercontinental Hotels when I have the option as their points system is brilliant for points offers. Get several freebies a year by working their offers. I get Amazon Vouchers with Best Western as seems to be the best deal. Have only stayed at Jurys Inn once which was a win from their Twitter account. Did like it, but they seldom have parking or if they do they charge.

Love your cheerful pics FF. No sign of sunshine here but dry will do.
There was serious flooding on the roads yesterday in our area and people had bother getting here. DD said there was hardly anyone at school first thing and her bf was called out to Dumfries.

Are you already on Twitter? What I mean is, was the email spam or expected?! There are a lot of competitions on Twitter, most require you just to follow the page of the company etc running the competition, and retweeting the tweet about the competition. Let me know if I can help any more!

Thanks April. I have decided to do as I was and just stick with web comps. It stresses me looking at the format of Twitter and I'm not on Facebook.

I started comping in October 2014. I didn't win anything for nearly five months but have won lots since. All web comps.

Do hope you will be lucky so. Wins usually seem to come when you least expect them.

Good morning everyone!

It's a beautiful weather day here today, the sun is shining
away and the frost is disappearing!



Makes a change from the last couple of days .... wet, windy
and blowing a hooley! (wingo - my mum always used
the expression and it stuck in my mind! ).

What a shame you had to go home yesterday leanfun. I
saw on the TV that journeys by train were disrupted due
to flooding and they mentioned Brockenhurst. Parts of the
roads through Beaulieu were also flooded. :eek: I live
fairly near to Beaulieu village - such a quaint beautiful
area.

Sorry to hear sheils that you have had bad flooding in
your area - awful weather. :sad:
