Goodness caravan holidays have fairly shot up in price. I know Forrest Holidays have all sorts of free activities but it is really not free when you factor in holiday cost.

Morning peeps. Getting fed up with this being awake after about four hours sleep. Think I will nip in to Holland and Barrett while I am out this morning and see if I can get some lavender oil and something that might keep me asleep for a little longer. Have to say though I am not tired. Raining here this morning so I hope it goes off before I leave. Have a lucky day everyone.

Been bucketing here again. Going to run out of rainy pics to post!
On serious side though I expect Cumbria has been getting this too. Saw Glenridding on the news again yesterday. It is where you get the Ullswater Steamers and flooded again. Don't know how some businesses will survive. It is one of our favourite areas for visiting off season.


It is horrid wakening up early rose. It is one reason I started comping, to pass the morning but lately I have been sleeping pretty well. Infact when we were away, I woke up at 7.50am which is unheard of. DH could sleep for Britain.

Tipping it down here and high winds too. As Sheils says though lots of peeps are not smiling at the moment with being flooded again, my heart goes out to them.

Good morning everyone!

It was still blowing a hooley here this morning when
I woke up (same as you rose - I always wake up at
'silly' hour but never feel tired!).

Now it has calmed down a lot - still raining but
looking brighter so things are looking up!

Still raining here too! Almost got blown away on my way to work yesterday - was very glad of my waterproof trousers! It's supposed to dry up in the next couple of hours so I really should get dressed and be ready to go out when it stops! (really struggling for motivation in this weather though!)
