Sheils, I sometimes do my ironing in hallway too as it's much lighter than other rooms! Good luck with the insurance quote. I wouldn't like a grumpy workman either, if he was in such a mood he might mess up!

Hope you've enjoyed your day off work indie even though you had housework to do! Still, it's nice having a day off. I always look forward to the weekend but still have lots of washing, ironing etc! It's true what they say...a woman's work is never done!

I've put some more Xmas lights up at the window. Just a strip going along with window stickers to brighten it up a bit.
It's quite chilly again tonight, hope there's no snow on way. Has yours all gone Sylvia now?

Apparently the weather here today is going to start off

The same was predicted for yesterday but we had
sunny spells on and off throughout the day - think I
will just use this in future .....

I actually managed to finish writing my Xmas cards
yesterday .... yippee! Hope everyone else is more
organised than me.

sheils - hate it when workmen have the grumps - makes
it uncomfortable for all! It's very hard to stay cheery
with someone like that!

wingo - love the sound of xmas lights up at the window -
I've only got them on my tree - may do the same as
you next year.

Love to all and fingers crossed that the weather is being
kind to you.

Checked forecast and supposed to have black cloud but be dry. possible your stone would be more accurate though Alfie!
Some great pics to cheer me up before assessor comes this morning.
Read reviews about company (Crawford & Co) and not good, always thought Saga Ins had good name so will soon get an idea.


Well done on ticket win leanfun. Would love to see that. No theatres near here and never seem to be ticket comps for Edinburgh and Glasgow.


Got cards delivered yesterday which was good. Most wrapping done now too. Just waiting on DD's bracelet coming. Time coming in.

So excited just won a watch on the East Midlands Deigner Outlet Advent.

Have to collect from there before February which we don't mind as is close enough for a trip

I never win on instants so couldn't believe my eyes

Have been very selective with my advents so nice to have a little win.

Morning peeps still dark here. Nipped over to newsagents and got some milk and bread rolls. So off in a min to cook some bacon and have breakfast. Love the smell off smoked bacon cooking. May even do an egg on the side. Hope everyone is well.
