Hope everyone ok and having nice wins. Fingers crossed for a lucky October for us all

Well after numerous calls to the school, they wouldn't return my call or even answer the phone. He went into school yesterday and was told he shouldn't have been in as he was suspended for not completing a full day in consequence room! They didn't say that but he stayed anyway in school. I wrote in his planner today explaining not to put him in that room and it made him ill and that the school wasn't returning my calls. A teacher told him ...'your mum can write as many notes as she wants but I'm not going to read them and you are still going in that room!' He was upset and another teacher came along and said he didn't need to be in the consequence room and he was allowed a few mins allowance with his sister if he walks to school with her. Finally, someone was listening!

Anyway, on another note me and my sis shared a scratch card and we won £100 on it :j

Well done on win wingo. I would insist on meeting someone in authority at your school if I were you. DS3 was so embarrassed at me verbally tearing into one of his teachers once he didn't want me near the place again! The other teacher there couldn't help smirking as the other one was a !!!!! that they were all scared of. So glad only have DD there now - she doesn't need me to stand up for her.
She has been persuaded to enter for a Rotary Club young chef competition as there aren't enough entrants. £50 prize so sure she will make an effort (like mother, like daughter)

Good for you Sheils I wouldn't back down either, at the end of the day it's my son that's getting upset over it, not theirs. The worse thing is, the teacher who was bullying son into going in the room, well it was his daughter who bullied my daughter because of her autism and spread the horrid rumours around about her before. His own daughter is always getting into trouble in school and brags about all her 'adventures' with various lads!
Good luck to your DD on the baking comps Hope she wins!

Thanks wingo and FF. DD isn't really that interested in cooking comp but teacher bribed/begged her and £50 is incentive! The rest of pupils have been preparing for a while though. Would be funny if she won though with 2 brothers being chefs!

Had a peep at photos Sheil great. They brought back many memories. I thought that was Glenfinnigan? Had forgotten it was loch Sheils. It's beautiful there. We drove up there once with DS who complained we had taken him down the longest cup de sac in the world from Fort William to Malaig when he refused to go to Isle of Skye.
Pleased you had a great trip.

Wingo I have kept thinking of your DS. I felt so angry I could not trust myself to comment here. So pleased someone has listened but I agree with Sheils you need to speak to someone in aurhority there.
Congrats on your win with your sister.

Thanks leanfun. Yes it was Glenfinnan , we climbed up the monument too as well as seeing a steam train go over the viaduct (as in Harry Potter film) Never been to Skye but planning to next year but going by bridge which is further up.
We went to the Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery too which went down well with DH.:D

So relieved that at last a teacher is actually listening at the
school but I agree with others ... see someone in authority
and get it sorted out once and for all.
