Good luck on the radio comp littlegran I always listen to capital so I will listen out for you! I once won a comp with Bodge where I had to do a challenge and make an omelette against Bodge in the given time! I did win too!

Love the pics Sheils It looks stunning where the canal boats are too

I'm sure your DD will settle in nicely kitten Here the kids start nursery at 3 and full time reception class before their 5th birthday. When I worked in nursery there were a couple of parents who decided not to bring their child to nursery anymore as they thought they weren't settled but you could guarantee they were absolutely fine when the parents left them! I bet you will be more anxious than she is! Quite understandable too, we never stop worrying about our kids!

It's been lovely at Whitby It only started raining as we were nearer home.
I went into work and didn't need to go in until Thursday! My kids are back tomorrow I'm soooo dreading the older two going as their school has been taken over and is extremely strict now. It's more like a prison with bars at the window! They get an instant detention if they look out of the window which is no good for my son who is very easily distracted! : o

Not feeling great this morning - just couldn't get to sleep last night, don't know why and waken early too.


Well done to Fred, Sylvia - missed your post. Not sure what it is but was trying to win it for DH!


Hopefully the school will relax a bit wingo although I think stricter would have been better for my DS2 & 3! Our school's new headmaster tried to be stricter but with silly things like longer skirts, no tight trousers and blouses buttoning to neck. It didn't work and he has slackened up now. Just made him seem weird. He went about corridors yelling at kids to take hoodies, hats etc off in winter. Was going through a divorce I think. Glad you enjoyed Whitby. Was trying to organise a break for that area/Bridlington area but not found anything we fancied. Parking the main problem at nice looking hotels with decent prices.

Good morning everyone!

Beautiful start to Wednesday here (thank goodness ) -
sun is shining away, though when I got up at 5.00am - it
was pitch black outside!

Can't believe how quickly the mornings and nights are
drawing in. :eek:

Still .... suppose it is Autumn now ....





The birds are singing away outside, all is well in their
world. Lots of juicy worms/bugs etc being consumed for
their breakfast after all the rain we have had!



Will have to pop out in a mo and top up the feeders with
seeds/nuts etc .... so they are all catered for.
