Well Done guys, wins on the first day of a new month.
Lovely sunny day today, sat in the garden for about an hour earlier, nice to feel the sun on my face.
School starts here tomorrow but my little one has a staggered start so starts on the 10th. Shes only just turned 3 and seems too young. Apparently they don't go to school until their 4 in England, it's 3 here in Wales. What do Scotland do?
Im really nervous as she can be a little shy when she doesn't know anyone. I'm sure she will be fine.Let's be happy!!0 -

:hello: Aaww - I expect you will be more nervous than her
Kitten.
I'm sure your little one will be fine ..... she will probably
be bursting to tell you all her news of her first day at school
and all the lovely new friends she has made!

Hi everyone,
Have had a busy day. Had a long walk in Morecambe, went to Sizergh Castle and then came come through The Lakes stopping at Ullswater for a little while. We had a few serious showers but managed to stay dry!
Well done indie & FF. Lovely, early prizes.
Kitten the kids in Scotland start school at 5. They do have half days at nursery at 4 and earlier now if wanted I think. They had 2 x 2hr sessions at playgroup when they were 3 and I had to pay for them.
Hope everyone has a lucky September.

Thanks Sheils,
Here its compulsory at 5 but there is free schooling after the 3rd birthday. So we have nurserys attached to primary schools, she will wear uniform and its full time. I think its a welsh government thing as wales is classed as a deprived country (not where we live though).Let's be happy!!0 -

hi littlegran, bit vague looking for that one,
you could always maybe try checking in your profile/user cp for
thanks/green tick you've given to comps if you track your entries that way
Find all posts thanked by littlegran
or try the radio stations ones that laks usually posts,
if you put laks on search you might be able to track it through
your green ticks,
search is sometimes iffy on here though so lots of
good luck for tomorrow.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Good luck little Gran.
Sheils sounds like a good time was had despite dodging the rain.
Kitten I am sure it is as Alfie said you'll be more nervous than her. When our first started a nursery attached to a school she did not talk there for a whole term but the teacher was great and knew that one day she would talk. She certainly took everything in and eventually talked.0
