Good morning everyone!

It's a dull and fairly wet start to Friday here. Ended up
with thunderstorm in the end yesterday though it came a
bit later on in the day.

Love a cracking good storm as long as I'm inside looking
out at it!

Been busy with lovely family ... they had a wonderful time
in America and are now staying at mine (treating me to
all sorts ) before they return home sometime on Saturday.

Welcome back sheils.

wingo - hope all is well with your dads scan results today -
so sorry to hear of the loss of his brother.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day whatever you have

Good Morning,


Been raining through the night and looking cloudy. Got a load of washing dry yesterday afternoon and lots nearly dry so hope I can finish them off later in day. Cheated and put undies in tumble dryer.


Hope your dad's scan is OK wingo. It is horrid when aunts and uncles die. I seem to have had a lot the last few years. Great you have had some nice days out. We are hoping to visit "Cragside" next week on our next break. It was the main reason we took out National Trust membership and we haven't got there yet. The entry charge is really high so was worth joining the Scottish one to get free entry to it.
Didn't get to Redcar or Whitby this year so will make sure we get over next year.

Hope Suki is doing OK now Sylvia. Are you still in Yorkshire? You are worse than us only moving about.

Glad we are back home now though leanfun - the M6 is looking really dangerous today with accidents and surface water. Hope you get to the coast.


My Nivea Men's set arrived today and looks good with large size shaving creams etc. Keeping it for DHs birthday on 23rd.

24 x shopkins foil bags,
& loads of other stuff in :j:j
