Good morning all, hope you are all ok today.

Thanks for the five firefly, Alfie and Sheils.

Busy day for you again today firefly an d hope you have an easy run today and don't get too far behind.

Lived in Telford for a few years Sheils, Ironbridge is lovely, we have a painting of it somewhere. Hope you have a good journey and void the bad weather.

DH's DD1, SIL and GD are coming over and we are is to Shibden Park so hope the weather holds.

Hope Sheils and Sylvia are having better weather than here. It's been pouring for hours. DD came with GS for lunch and as she went off in car there was thunder. Neighbours across the road have lights on.

More thunder now.

They have gone off to cinema.. They will be soaking when they get there.

Got home safely at about 1.45pm. Left hotel at just after 8am as breakfast wasn't included (£10.50 each) and nowhere seemed to open until later so drove on to Preston and stopped for breakfast, fuel and a Sainsbury shop as had £6 off £30 voucher to spend. Got some of my favourite Pino blush wine for £12 for 3 so chuffed with that.
Lovely and sunny at home - infact it was a bit too hot when we had a little walk.


Loved Ironbridge Sylvia - only seemed to see enormous shopping centres in Telford , we were next to the park but were too tired to explore it yesterday. Run out of time to do everything we wanted

Yes very strange day here. Pleased I was just ironing. It did brighten up briefly in the afternoon but DZh had headache it was still do close. Rained again later very dull.

Glad you had a good hol leanfun and well done on your tickets win :T I always worry about burglary when I'm away too. I've been burgled before and it's not a nice feeling at all.

Hope Sukie is much better Sylvia xx It was Preston Park we went and we picked a gorgeous day to go. Went around the museum first then had a picnic before going into the park. The kids played for ages making a den by the lake. It was too hot to go in butterfly world though!

Today we went into redcar beach for a bit seeing as it was still nice outside. Taking DD2 to fun shack soft play tomorrow (today) was it's going to rain out. My dad gets his scan results tomorrow so he's a bit on edge and he found out tonight his brothers died too. Mam and dad both come from a big family so it's difficult when it's one after the other.

Hope it's a lucky friday for everyone xx
