You haven't missed much in Redcar Sheils, some youths decided to set fire to the seating shelters on the sea front. They have only been modernised not long ago too. I am hoping to go to Whitby too before kids go back to school

I take it you got your rain I sent you today Alfie? I've plenty more if you want it! It's never stopped today! Enjoy having the family around before they go home

Has DD settled ok with the new baby leanfun?

Dad's scan showed that the chemo hasn't shrunk any of it but it hasn't grew either so he is having one last chemo on Monday and if he remains fit as he could be but it does spread they might be able to offer him a new drug trial in Newcastle. So not all bad news and he's remaining positive. It's scary though as all his side of family have had cancer.

I decided to treat myself to an upgraded phone so getting that on Monday! Getting an iPhone as I'm sick of the galaxy one!

Some of them did sheils but some haven't. I suppose it was different yrs ago when nearly everyone smoked! Just glad things have moved on from then.
I'm snuggled up in my dressing gown now comping while the others are watching a boring film!

Good morning everyone!

Hope you are all well on this light cloudy Saturday.

Apparently the sun is going to appear today and it's actually
brightening up as I type.

Had plenty of rain the last couple of days :j so the garden
has had a good watering and all is well in my world.

Have loved having gorgeous family here - they are setting off
home later with their pets onboard so going to make the most
of today.

Hope Fred is feeling ok once the ab's have kicked in sylv.

wingo - so pleased to hear that your dad is no worse - cancer
is a very cruel disease and sadly some families seem more
prone to cancer than others.

My late husbands family have all been so unlucky, and
my husband passed away from prostate cancer - so know what
you are all going through.

Loving the froggie theme folks , made me have a giggle
this morning when I had a look back at the pics. :rotfl:

Sun is shining away here now. :j

Sun shining away here again. We seemed to be lucky yesterday as it was dry most of day and bit of rain at night.


Glad you got the rain you want Alfie. Great your family managed to stay for a bit.

Saw and entered the Menzies comp wingo. Nice enough hotel, in need of a refurbishment really but for the prices they charge it doesn't bother me. Food was good which is main thing.

Hope everyone is keeping well

I've got an iPhone 3GS but will probably need to upgrade it soon as some of the updated apps no longer work. it would be nice to win one (or the equivalent money). I don't use my phone all that often so it's just a pay & go - £20 lasts me about 3 months as I have a data bolt on costing £6/mth as I access the internet and use apps quite frequently.

Wingo I do find the iPhone a lot more user friendly than the Samsung Galaxy. What iPhone are you getting?
