I'll be ok I am used to heavy snow before I came back to my home town I lived in a place called Shotts for years and it is another world was forever being snowed in because it was so high up. We were all snowed in for days at a time and they used to have to bring in jcb's diggers and huge snow shifters and lorries to take the snow away. Nobody could get to work or if outside the place get back in. Yet in summer when the sun was out it was like being abroad which was the plus side to it. When I was at high school which was around 10 miles away I and others used to get bussed home early if it was snowing in shotts the head teacher from the local school used to phone down to ours to warn them and we were gradually rounded up and taken home only good thing about it was if we were all missing next day they knew we couldn't get out lol Snow in my home town does not really lie as it is a main town and very busy commercial area it is priority for being cleared if there is a heavy fall.

Used to like staying at Hol Inn Express by loch rose. Been shopping in your town and was impressed by variety.
Grandparents lived in Burnbank so spent time in Hamilton as a kid.

We've had snow today too Rose but it didn't lay. It was like a blizzard earlier much to the kids delight but the ground was wet here too!

I didn't have a girly day, too busy tidying girls room and sorting out electrical stuff! I started putting my new PC up but didn't finish it as I got dragged into putting the old Xbox into girls room! :o Son got Xbox one for Xmas so girls want the old one. Then I set up the android box on TV and we've been watching a movie! We were going to watch another until they started arguing so I sent them to bed!

Keep up with the swimming for dd kitten :) I wish I had kept up my DD's, she's got swimming in school soon and she's not too confident now! They have swimming every day for a couple of weeks so with that, the gymnastics and street dancing she will be shattered!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!
