My mum & sis shop at asda and they said lots of stuff is cheaper now so I might try them if tesco closes. I can't stand morrisons as it's always too packed and long queues at tills. It's much worse at Xmas as you can't get near shelves for queues!

The wind has started up again here.

Some of us don't have an Asda within 60 miles! (they do deliver though) They scrapped their plans for a store 30 miles away

    No sign of wind yet.

I would say we are quite lucky for supermarkets sheils as we are spoilt for choice. There are just too many fast food places here though, we're overrun with them!
I meant to say they are opening a premier inn next to old casino in our town. I will let you know when it opens! :D

we've had a new Lidl built not far from us but it still means
catching a bus & lugging it all the way home on the bus for
about 20 mins there & back & tbh not keen on their stuff
    anyway :o:D
asda just lately has some lovely fresh stuff on their shelves
& lots of diff salads etc to choose from :j
I like the way you can go through the 'aisles' &
pick the stuff online even the fresh fish counter &
veggies & must be saying wingo some of the
    stuff is cheaper :j

    you're lucky rose,
we do have a small co-op just up the hill,
    & a local greengrocers/cob shop/paper shop/post office/ etc
& a bargain booze that also sells bits & pieces so it's handy
for a quick walk up if needed :)

that winds back up here again
