wingo - your kids are definitely making the most of being
off school!!

Don't think you will be lucky with any of those 'wakey wakey'
ideas! Used to try some of those with my two kids all those
years ago, hoovering outside their bedroom doors, letting the
dog bark .... nothing worked! However, bet the moment you
turn the internet off, they will all be wide awake and
raring to go! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've got a big fat one in the shed that does a great job
of keeping the flies & wasps out when the window &

Hi everyone,


Back home now. It was raining in Burnley this morning so we didn't do the canal walk we had planned and came home to the sunshine!
Had a nice time away anyway. Great Indian meal last night as you would expect in Burnley!
Got washing on now and catching up with some stuff online. Will get some comps done now.
Wingo I used to just let my kids lie in - more peaceful. DD was still in PJs when we got home so that she could just get dressed for work at 4pm.

Great Indian meal was delicious! Long time since I
had one - you have got me thinking about having one
now!!

Just cooking cauli cheese and veggies for early dinner -
it's nearly ready now so best be off.

Wingo took me back thinking of teenagers still in bed. I think I would be like Sheils and take the easy option and let them lie in but it can be frustrating.
Sheils pleased you had a good time in Yorshire. Shame rain last day.

Thanks everyone for pic esp of spider. I don't mind them but some in our family really don't like them.

Welcome back sheils I bet the Indian meal was lovely. I still haven't used the Italian restaurant voucher that I won last yr. they run out in august so we might go on Saturday for our anniversary. Will make a change us doing something together!

Hope you've had a good say leanfun I don't mind the kids sleeping in now and again but it becomes a habit with them in school hols and before they know it, they're back at school!

It's been a mixed kind of day here, a bit sunny then cold and rainy! Just went to park with sis & youngest DD. Son is sleeping out after a lot of pestering!

hope all is well,I am fine today,went to Aquacise this morning and had a great swim hadnt been for ages and was nice to see everyone

I have relaxed this evening and watched the soaps.I will be a busy bee this weekend as its our carnival and I am looking forward to it
