Good morning. Sounds like everyone has been busy.

Well done on the win Sheils. Will have a look at your pics in a bit, thanks for sharing. That's the only problem with Halifax it's very hilly.

Hope you managed to get all your mags done yesterday firefly.

Have a lovely day Rose, Wingo, indie, leanfun and anyone else popping in.

We had a really busy day yesterday at Temple Newson.

DH had a £30 voucher win yesterday.

:j Very well done to Fred for the voucher win! :j:j :D

It's been raining here now for the last couple of hours
though not cold. Rain's fairly light - no sign of sun
though although sky is full of bright cloud - if that
    makes sense. :p

Maybe sun will come out later. :)

Sun out here now but is still doesn't feel warm. Got some shopping to go and get after I have hung out the washing.

Well done to Fred ,Sylvia - saw his name on the site.
Temple Newson looks nice, tend just to go to English Heritage and Nat Trust places as we are members of both. See Lord Darnley was born there. I am really interested in Mary Queen of Scots.

Hi everyone, hope you have had a lovely day.

Didn't get to go in the house Sheils as had the GK's with us and they wanted to go to the farm. It was one of best ones I have been to as it had lots of history with it and old machinery etc. They was also an old dolly wash and plunger with suds in so the kids could posh it up and down. Will go back one of the times and have a look around the house.

DH is on great form this week with another two wins today on the CTW.

I hope your loom band stall does really well tomorrow Katie and that you have a super time.

Hope you managed to finish the word search firefly they aren't good on the eyes. Looked for OMG mag today while I was out but there were none at Sainsbury's.

    Have a lovely evening everyone.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

:)Yes firefly, probably late as you say. Thank God for washing machines as you say. Remember helping Mom and that rinsing and the dolly blue to get the whites nice and the boiler to boil the towels etc. We certainly have it easier these day but I think but then again most women have to go out to work as soon as they have their children with money being so tight for them.

agree we have it easier these days gadget wise sylv,
still think it's hard for most mums juggling with
having to work & looking after the house & kids as well.
