Congratulations on the win Indie. It should be good.

Great pic Sheils brought back so many memories. We too have been on deserted beaches near Dornoch. At least you had some fine days.

We all thought of you firefly! Wine does seem in order tonight.

Well what a day. I now definitely have two Kylie tickets in Daughters name.
A courier delivered the most marvellous box from the Cambridge Satchel company. It has a medium bag in it and a festival package which we are waiting for DD to open. All wrapped in tissue. plus instructions how to collect Kylie Tickets. £200 voucher to follow.
The first Kylie tickets never arrived and no instructions how to collect comp closed on 6 th June, despite me sending two reminders, maybe we will still hear. At least DD and one friend can go.
Still heavy weather here but cooler today. Ground rock hard in DDs garden. Sylvia I too Tried to pull up a few weeps but very difficult.

All sounds lovely leanfun!

Still hot hot hot here - managed to mow lawns this morning
and do some edging etc but weeding is a definite no no at
the mo! Ground is rock hard too, difficult to weed etc. :eek:

Will try again tomorrow but if rain is not forthcoming it
will have to stay like that for a while. :eek: It's funny
how the decent plants wilt in the heat but the weeds carry
on growing!!!

Keep lucky everyone - will 'see' you tomorrow.

I had a good day today,went to lunch group and had coffee at Wetherspoons with friends then went home and had tea.

I went to Karaoke tonight and sang some songs.

Actually .... it's not remotely glorious at the mo -
it's dry, humid, slightly overcast and still the rain is
staying away! Ho hum! :p

Could do with some of yon wet stuff - preferably through
the night though!

Lovely to hear about your news Katie - you lead such
a busy life.

I feel in need of another cup of coffee so off to put
the kettle on.

Been raining here if anyone wants some!
Woke up late for a change but then did go to bed late as was checking some hotel prices for Sep/Oct.
Didn't get all the ironing finished so had better get on the case today and get DDs school stuff washed (not that she has put it out)
