Strawberries yummy.
Sheila pleased you enjoyed your trip. Hope tree felling goes well.
Thanks everyone for the congratulations. Just came down to earth by deleting all emails inbox in my comping email by mistake! I've gone through the trash now some emails won't open! Wow. I'm going to put it down to old age.
Yes, same birthday as Rose but I'll be 68. Ho dear I feel 38 in my head.
DD1 is bringing GS around. DH and I are going out for a meal and then on Thursday will go and see DD2 and GKs.0 -
Just been looking at the longacres site to spend my £100 win. Goodness it is expensive. So going to order National Garden Gift Vouchers to the value. Then I can use them in Homebase or loads of garden centres near me. A decent size planter is £99 with longacres:eek:0

Hi everyone just popping in to say thanks for all your good wishes for me & bro. I got out today around 4pm. I would have been out earlier but didn't respond well to anaesthetic so was in recovery still for almost 6 hrs before back on ward! Lol! It caused nausea for a few days so have to take reg anti sick tablets with pain killers to keep everything down. Managed to eat something today though. Bro went down at 9am and around 12.40 I was called down when they found an artery to attach kidney to. Last minute though it was decided to take my right kidney as my left was too risky to remove as I had large vein going across. This meant shorter veins attached on right kidney to connect to my brother but thanks to the amazing quick thinking of surgeon, a vein from a donor liver from fridge was used to attach to kidney too and the kidney op was a success after 12 hrs
He still has a few complications just yet but kidney is definitively working. There was no beds on ITU ready for him so he stayed in recovery overnight which. Is just like critical care. I came out around 4pm but because I had a reaction to anaesthetic didn't get on ward until after 10pm!
I've just read through all my pm's and emails, fb notifications so took me a while but no wem in them!
Thanks again everyone for your kind words and well done to any wins. Will catch up when I can xxBig thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
