Just looking at trees just now. Have lived in this house for nearly 33years and enjoyed watching the birds in them but the rowan looks dead and I am worried some of them aren't safe now. Will have to plant some of my own!

Once again thankyou everyone for your good wishes. Went down to market stall at shops and got some strawberries and a load of other fruit will send some up to gk's they will eat fruit till the cows come home lol. Also bought some jersey royal potatoes (nearly fainted at the price of them) I love them just boiled with loads of butter. Neighbour who has the florist shop brought me over a basket of flowers it is beautifull. Son has a surprise present from him, DIL and sister. Can't wait (the suspense) lol Got some wine and chocs and smellys from other friends. Neighbour whos husband is 40 today has invited me up for an hour tonight around 9pm. They are going out for a meal. Big party on Saturday for him so looking forward to that. He know nothing about it. Got her a ballon pump so her and I are going to be blowing up god knows how many balloons on Friday night. Loads of banners and things as well that were delivered to me on Monday. So she is going to be busy on Saturday afternoon doing up room she has booked in hotel. Off to get changed in a bit as meeting son and dil at my favourite Indian resturant at 12.30. Have a lucky day everyone
