I am hoping for a quiet one ff. Think son has other ideas though. Can't be bothered with celebrating anymore . I'm 56 this year still feel about 30 until bones creak and crack when I get up in the morning lol.

lol, i like quiet ones as well rose,
don't mind a little family get together &/or
just a few friends for wine & nibbles but that's
about as exciting I like it nowdays,

Sunny but humid day here today.

Hi Lucinda. I started comping last October and it does take awhile to get your mind around the different comps. everyone is so generous posting comps on board and very encouraging. Good luck.

Sylvia I loved your Sunady pic.

Sheils we watched two Michael Portillo train journeys this evening. First one started in Inverness. Years ago we did the journey from either Dingwall or Beauley to Plockton. It was beautiful. Do hope you are enjoying your break and weather is better today.

Rose sorry prize was for neighbour. We frequently take in for next door and I get excited when I see van and knock on door. Last time courier said one for you too. I feel the same as you about Wednesday. We have blackout curtains but this summer have been waking up really early too.

DD1 came today with GS they had a great holiday. He was full of it.

Firefly and Alfie your gardens must be stunning.

Indie we decided to enough was enough with shopping and have an online delivery for tomorrow.

Have agreed to go out to lunch with son and dil. Son is taking a day off on Wednesday. So will have a few wines with my meal. They have to pick kids up at 3pm. Will probably need a lie down when I get home lol. For some reason if I have a couple in the day I need a sleep. Hope everyone is having a nice evening.

lol, funny how we used to be able to drink any hours when
younger but as we get older it seems to take it's toll :eek:

Phew! Very humid here at the mo - could do with
some of the wet stuff to clear the air a tad -
maybe do a rain dance later! :eek:

Sun is peeking through so think it's going to be
a beautiful but humid day!

Morning everyone. Bit dull here this morning but supposed to brighten up later. Too true ff about not being able to drink as much as when we were younger. A couple of years ago I was at a cocktail bar abroad and had two cocktails and was absolutely floored. Head was ok but legs would just not work lol. Was told they were really strong as a few others had same problem but they tasted nice wouldn't have known there was a lot of alchohol in them. Anyway have a lucky day everyone

You are still a spring chicken Rose, I'm 68 now and am a lot slower than I used to be.

Ho Sylvia here was me thinking I must be the oldest in the Inn but not quite!

Rose hope you have a great lunch out tomorrow and it's good weather. Here it's sunny again and we still have had no rain. Feels very heavy here.

Yes great about DD1. She looks better and sat here saying I can't believe you have won Kylie tickets (they have not arrived yet. I have spent ages trying to find out who posts Graziadaily to thank them). Plus tickets to take GS out. Wow.
