Glad dd is better kitten. No you are not rambling we all have the same concerns when it come to being a working parent and kiddywinks get ill and sorting out someone to care for them during nursery/school holidays.

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Had a lovely little break and back to reality now. The scenery in the Lakes looked lovely in the sunshine today.
Spent most of my birthday money and vouchers in Kendal so a successful trip. Have seen me carrying vouchers about for months!

Hard decision to make when you have kids kitten. I worked part time when the oldest two were little but I paid one of my sisters to child mind as she had some of similar ages and didn't work. Gave up after DD as wasn't worth the bother for the money after child minding costs.

Glad you had a good time in Kendal Sheils :) Pics are lovely, I love seeing canal boats and always fancied going on one.

Hope the dogs are lovely and groomed Sylvia :) I would love someone else to give jasper a bath here, it's always down to me to bath him and I hate doing it!

Kitten family always come first :) I gave up nursing studies when son was younger as childcare was too expensive and didn't cover what I needed. I would love to go back into it but I couldn't be done with all the studying now, my brains not what it used to be!

Hope you've had a good day fire**fly :) It's been lovely weather here today, big difference from yesterday.

Rose, hope your TV was ok. I hate it when things stop working as I always think it happens in 3's! My phone is on it's way out but I can't get an upgrade until august!

I've been working over again and will be until further notice when & if other staff return. My brother has the scan he's been waiting for booked for next week so should get another op date after that pending results. I just hope it's all over & done with before DD goes to Scotland in May with gymnastics as I'm meant to be going with her! Still, needs must so if I can't go she will have other parents to look after her :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

TV engineer coming tomorrow afternoon. So fingers crossed whatever has happened it can be fixed. It is only 3 years old. Been quite nice here today. Got towels dry just had to stick them in dryer for 10mins to fluff them up a bit. Love when I can get washing out. Everything crossed for you and your brother wingo. Good you had a nice time shiels. Weather didn't seem to bad down that way.
