    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
Oh Chickaroonee, so sorry you havent been able to go on hol due to your cat being ill, what a shame. Have they gone far? If not cant you join then as soon as poody is OK? Big hugs. You are welcome to have a moan anytime.

The compost maker sounds good firefly. I have always been put off getting one as someone says you can get snakes in them! Or are they just having me on:(

I am the same Rose/Kitten love B & M and Home Bargains/Pound Stretcher. They have some good things in. Some food and cleaning products are cheaper there as well, even cheaper than Poundland. I always get my pots and compost from there as well.

Hope you have arrived safely Sheils and have a good time. Look forward to viewing your pics again too, if you are kind enough to post them again :):)

Hope things are OK with you at the moment Wingo, big hugs.

Its lovely being home again. Need to rest up a bit this week as have the GK's 3 days next week for half term while DD is on placement.

Really excited at the moment as DD2 has an interview to go back to Uni to do her Doctorate in Phsycology. She has managed to change it to a later date so hopefully she will be feeling stronger by then.

    Have a lovely evening everyone.

Trying to catch up on the comps since coming home.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

thanks sylvia, well done to your dd!

They're in the canaries..so not too easy to go unfortunately :( Depends on price/flights/cat but not looking likely just now. I'm feeling a bit wobbly but at least have entered a few comps this afternoon. Kitty is sleeping but not eaten much. Perhaps back to the vets tomorrow if no better then.

    too many comps..not enough time!

Aww chick big hugs(((((((())))))))) it is horrible when something unforseen happens when you are due to go on holiday. You moan away we wont mind. I have been out this afternoon for tea lol. Friend phoned she fancied treating herself and did I want to go as well. We went to a very nice hotel a couple of miles away and had afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones and cakes it was lovely. Also had a G & T .not something I normally do prefer a pub lunch but enjoyed it.

not sure about the snakes sylv,
never had any in ours up to now
& we had an allotment for years with compost makers &
in the old place we lived & never came across any snakes
did some googling & found some interesting facts that
yes, sometimes grass snakes will lay their eggs in them
but seems to be more in the countryside than
    urban gardens,
    well done to DD :T:j:T

(((hugs))) again chick & hope both you
& kitty feel better soon xx

sounds a lovely time had rose this afternoon :j
    you deserve a treat :A
    ages since I've had a G&T

he's had another anti sickness jab, antibiotics and some rehydration fluid. Hopefully he'll improve or it's blood tests/drip. Poor little thing, he's only a kitten still who's had a tough start in life. He is so loving though.
