Hate when that happens ff. It is bad enough when you have warning of it. I have just had a clear out of office (boxroom lol) and put two black bags out:eek:. Had a mushroom omlette tonight needed to use them up before they started going off. Hate throwing out food. Neighbour has ordered up boiler and is going to fit it next weekend:D He managed to get it trade so saved quite a bit on it. Enjoy your chinese FF.

    Been quiet in here today.

Glad you are back FF! Poor DD was scared of that happening when we were away at Bluestone last month and it was really windy. Think she had candles lit everywhere.

Good to get things cost rose. Our plumber is good that way, he lets us go to his supplier and order in his name although we have to pay supplier there and then.

I went to bank yesterday and got him cash shiels. He used his brothers trade card. Not many comps about today shiels so I was off the pc more than I was on. Got other things done. I just leave it connected and come back and forth. You all up to date with housework now?

Arrived home about an hour ago. There was a beautiful sunset as we came into Durham, it would lovely to see. Glad to be able to sleep in our own bed tonight.

Glad the electricity is back on for your firefly, I hate it when it goes off. Enjoy your Chinese take away.

    Enjoy your trip away Sheils.

That was nice of your DIL giving you a Kenwood Rose. I expect you will put it to good use.

Hope you are getting things sorted out with the School Wingo.

    Have a lovely evening everyone.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

Not too bad thanks rose. Got a few meals organised for DD too and all the washing and ironing done.

Welcome back Sylvia. We had a lovely sunset too which looked so strange as fog had returned!

I got the candles out sheils & had the torches on so could
use mobile for keeping in touch,
made me think back to the 70's with all the power strikes
sounds like you're all organised now for going tomorrow.

That was lovely of your DIL to give you food mixer Rose :) That's a good swap for your home made pat! :D

Ooh you're trusting Sheils letting your DD use candles! I wouldn't let mine any where near a candle as they are too clumsy! :o

I hate power cuts too fire** fly. Especially when they happen through night and you don't know what time it is when you wake up! Hope you enjoyed your Chinese :) I made fajitas tonight as son has his friends staying over.

It's nice to be back in your own bed isn't it Sylvia! :) Hope all is well and you came home to some wins xx

Two cans of red bull turned up in post today in a fancy box but no note or anything! I think it might have been a fb comp as I vaguely remember something about it. :) I don't drink it but DD1 said she would like to try it. Would be funny if she drank it and started chatting away to everyone in school! :D I would buy it all the time if she did that!
After numerous phone calls to the school the teacher I spoke to said she had lost her notebook which is why she 'forgot' about the incident! Such a lame excuse!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!
