That is shocking wingo about the teacher I would be going berserk by now you are very patient. My processor was about 10 years old so I got my moneys worth out of it.

Reason I remember the power cuts so vividly ff is I got married on 5th November 1977 during a strike and hairdresser phoned me at tea time on the friday to tell me to come down Friday night he would stay there till I got there as electricity was going off on Saturday morning so he would not be able to do my hair. He even came to house Saturday morning to tidy it up.Remember other strikes as well but that one stands out. As for candles I keep two boxes in the cupboard just in case . Don't want to light my Yankee candles if light go out they are for making the house smell nice lol would be a waste in a power cut.

    Good Morning,

Just popped in before I start getting organised to head off. Like to do a few dailies before we go as we have a busy day planned. Looking forward to seeing Chester again, have some shopping to do and Caf! Rouge booked for tonight.
Hope everyone has a lovely day and a lucky week.
