I've only got IE9, but assuming it's similar, go to Internet Options/Advanced and click reset. That might fix it.0

Scrap it and download Firefox or Chrome, IE is past repairable now completely knackered software fit for the bin."You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure"Sir Winston Churchill0

I dare say it's because IE 11 does wait a relatively (compared to other browsers) short amount of time for pages and content to load, before assuming there's a problem, and webpages these days have to pass through your ISPs censorship filters.
Also if IE has "enhanced protection mode" turned on, turning this off may speed things up a bit.
All this digital nannying slows everything down a small amount and it all adds up.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Check that you've got the latest Microsoft updates. There were two extra ones released this month after the usual scheduled ones on the second Tuesday of the month. I think both dealt with issues in IE11.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0

Does anything show up in event viewer?0 -
Thanks Laz123 - Ive run sfc. It says.......
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.log.
However Im not sure what to do with the results log.......particularly which files it was unable to fix.illegitimi non carborundum0
