Moto G charging issues

Hi guys

Drunkenly kicked/tripped over the wire while my phone was charging a few days ago and now it wont charge with that charger or another similar cheapo one but charges ok with an old samsung galaxy ace charger and via usb?

Any reason its working one them and not the others ?

I didn't think that there was any other way of charging a Moto G. It's via the USB port or nothing.

What's the point in guessing?
"The others" can be faulty.
The micro-USB port can be slightly damaged so that it works with some connectors and doesn't work with others.

Think pretty much all phones have the same connection now a days mate

This depends on how you define 'pertty much'.

iPhones and many basic phones have different ports.

Pretty much is a fair number of differences .

Guess its the usual USB port pins slightly bent .

Yeah just found it strange how some work fine charging and the others just won't charge at all and wondering how to fix it if its possible, it was a very slight knock when I kicked the charging wire
