  • Does anyone who has purchased the big jack wills bags know if the voucher inside for 15% off jack wills is a unique code or a standard one ? I've missed out on the bag being at work and looking for a code for an online purchase with them ??

Awesome, thanks for that, as that is where I will be heading at 4.30 after work. May also pop into the big Cowley store as well!

Was in Cowley this morning. Not many people but those that were there had high piled trolleys. Not much left then.

Even in Cowley Road branch a couple spent almost £300 between them earlier.
  • I slept in:( but good news sent daughter and hey had the mini body butters i wanted so she grabbed me some:T

Northampton Sixfields was a little busy at half eight. Got some Soap and Glory, men's Ted Baker set, some cute bird candles and a Ted Barker edt set.

The little one in St James though...not as much stock but higher quality. Got some No 7 items and Nivea men's set.

My highlight has been balmi lip balms at £1.50, normally £4.99 each. Got one for me and 4 for presents. So chuffed.

Loads of s and g and sanctuary left at riverside at 1pm when i finished work, Beyonce gift sets and other bits and bobs i was really surprised, didnt know there was a boots in st james?

    Xmas Saver!
A successful day - even got a large soap and glory set, our store was mixed there was a lot of the wooly slippers in small, soap and glory oneies, lot of the Beyonc!, one direction stuff.

I got a gd mixture, dove sets, sanctuary sets, mini perfumes, soap and glory with the perfume set, baileys sets, ted baker nail polishes, men's - fcuk boxer sets, usual ted baker deodorant sets, I spent about £250 but that was a gd wack on vouchers, points, my actual money was £100.

Quick reckoning I will have covered Father's Day, Mother's Day, 6 bdays and at least 25 Xmas prezzies.

I used promo vouchers, I split the shopping up to get bet deals, £35 spend -£5 points, £35 spend -£3.50 points, £25 - £2.50 points, double points - all helped out.

I got to the store about 9am left at 10.30 it was heaving till about 9.30, then the shelves were literally beAr.

One sales assistant didn't even know it was on till she got to work... The window only had 1 small poster xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Same happened to me and I asked and they said there isn't anything they can do. Let me know if you manage to get it done :)

I went to my local store (very quiet now as literally nothing left) and they happily added on 500 points for the £35 threshold voucher and double points for my spends this morning - so that's another £12.00 I have to spend on my advantage card :) Yippee!
    Proud to be debt-free 30/6/2020

  • Sorry to burst the bubble, but the sale has started today 14/01/15, just been into my local branch and got some bits for gifts during the year.

How are you bursting anyone's bubble? Everyone's aware the sale started today, that's what the last few pages of the thread have been about!

May not bother then if I can get a few bits that I like in the city centre. Thank you!

  • Tried buying online at 7am and it removed all my items on checkout. In the end I went into my small local boots. Was pleased I got the spa box for £13.50, s&g orange set £4.80, s&g men's va va groom set £4.80, champneys men's spa essentials £4.50, No 7 nail set £3.60, 17 cosmetic bag set £3.60, boots body butter collection £2.40, 2x dove radiance set £1.80 each, and Xmas cards £1.05. Came to £36.85 as last night I uploaded £5 off wys £20 and a 300 points when you spend £30 offer onto my adv card. It accepted both at checkout so was pleased. Also got the big s&g set with £18 worth of points. This is a treat for myself along with the sanctuary set and 17 cosmetic bag. Probably just as well they did not have too much or I would have been tempted to buy more. I got to the shop at 9.10 when it opened at 8.30 and there was a lady and her husband stacking up their pram and baskets with loads of sets including s&g. They were blocking the aisle which was a bit annoying as it is just a small shop with half an aisle of sale items. Had to wait till they left. Most people were polite tho luckily but with it being a v small store it resulted in the inevitable bumping into each other. Last year I spent a lot more and even drove to a larger store but this year I have decided to spend less and save the £5 petrol.

Refused to get up for opening this year and instead popped in at 12 (Nottingham Vic Centre) to see if there was anything left and there was loads and loads and they were bringing more and more stuff.

I got a lot of stuff for my partner for his birthday, two large s&g sets and then they brought out the large womens Ted Baker sets and I nabbed one of those so was really happy.

It was pretty uncivil, lots of pushing. 1 Chinese lady had to borrow one of the grey crates to put her stuff in as she had that much!!
