Went to Wickes yesterday to buy some angle beading to fit over an external corner of two plasterboards for the taping and joingting im doing in the new year.
What size beading do I need (thickness, not length) as I coudl see several different sizes.
I assume as its only a T+J finish, not a full skim that I need as thin beading as possible?
Does anyone have any recommendations pls ta j

thx for your help0 -
Well this is the angle bead for the same system http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Thin-Coat-Anglebead-3m/p/240323 You can also do them with the reinforced paper tape if you end up with cut ends butting up to each other.

Just use the standard type as illustrated, metal thickness is only around 0.5mm the bead stands about 1.5mm at the corner. You have to tape and blend in the corners of course but the angle is lost within about 100-150mm of the corner.
If you don't use steel beads the corners will inevitably become damagedI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

I've just drylined our extension and have used the galv reinforced corner edge tape for all the window and door reveals.
No problem at all blending that in especially when using Gyproc joint adhesive and Easifill for finished surface.

You miss the point, the OP said external, he doesn't need internal angle tapesI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Window reveals would be mostly external angles though surely?
Asuuming the reveal butts up to the window frame(s)0 -

That is the correct external corner tape for jointing,it is normal tape with reinforced metal edges. You can use thin set plaster beads but will need more building out0
