ll sorry to hear about your cat.

shandy pleased to hear your mum is at home.

I've learned a few dabbing lessons recently.

The first one is about drinking more water. A couple of months ago, I made more effort to drink more water, but I have recently got out of the habit and I woke up on Friday morning to terrible skin. It's not too bad today, thank goodness. The other possible culprit is a make up remover, but either way, I need to increase my water intake.

Dressing up - yesterday, my niece had a birthday which was full of hip teens. I went straight to the party in jeans and jersey top, as if been out for most of the day, but as soon as I got there, I wished I'd made more of an effort to dress up. It did make clearing up a lot easier at the end though.

Another positive note is that I have booked some new laser treatment sessions. I got them through groupon and the savings have meant I can afford to get extra areas done. I have pcos and so am quite hairy and I feel so much more confident when I have it done.

I'll join you in trying to drink more water, chanie - I've slipped a bit in the last couple of weeks!
Hope everyone's ok - it's very quiet here at the moment; hope your cat's bearing up ll.
What do you lovely ladies have for brekkie when trying to eat healthily? I've just had some "healthy" cereal instead of my usual toast, and really didn't enjoy it! I need some ideas for quick and tasty starts to the day!
Off to work now - all in black again! But I've added a bright scarf to lift me a bit:)
Have a good day all x

I need to join you on the water intake.

I seem to have gone back to having night sweats and woke up with a splitting headache, probably due to dehydration. So it's more water and take a large glass to bed with me.

Good news in the weight front, have come off the plateau and have started losing steadily again - only a lb. week but I'm pleased.

Cat doing well, off the morphine, still on painkillers and antibiotics. Sleeping a lot but that's natures way I think. He's eating again so it's looking good. He can now sit on his haunches but is still dragging his hind quarters when he moves around.

I guess thats one of nine lives gone.......hes a brave boy. He's basking in a patch of sunlight right now, fast asleep.

Not much news. I'm on nurse duties so haven't been out much the last few days, have used the time to catch up on some paperwork and a bit of Internet shopping.....;)

I'm another one trying to drink more water during the day whilst at work from the water cooler. It is so easy to get absorbed in what you are doing and forget how long it is since you had a drink. :)

LL Glad to read that the cat is doing a bit better. Fingers crossed for further improvement. Regards your internet shopping...did you buy anything nice? :D

    Train tickets so far.........:D

But tomorrow will get ds2 to help me choose....A new kindle and a simple "easy" camera for my holiday. I'm also going to try buying some specs online - just an inexpensive second pair for back up.

Glad puss is doing well LL and that the weight has started shifting again:)
Managed 2 big glasses of water today - better, but still nowhere near enough; hope you all did better than me.
Feeling thoroughly demoralised and drained of confidence right now; I won't bore with the details but I'm feeling so hurt by someone's lack of sensitivity and understanding; some people just can't read other people at all and see everything as black and white - grrr:( (not, I hasten to add, any of my nearest and dearest!)
Heading to bed now to sleep it off and try to put it behind me.
Still cleansed and moisturised though, so a pat on the back for me!

Hi all - hope you're all ok.
Second day of healthy eating and still trying hard with the water drinking:)
Not much else to report but keeping up the skincare routine morning and evening.
A few chores and then some family time this evening - well, 3 of us anyway:)

    Good evening everyone,

In between external meetings, I popped into lush and spent about 20 minutes trying on different make up products. Although I do occasionally wear light make up, I've always been a bit scared in case I got it wrong. I really enjoyed the experience and was able to laugh when I tried on colours that looked hideous. I realised that there are lots of colours that suit me and I can wash off any colours that I don't like.
