Hi All,

Hope this isn't cheating but just added 25.00 to my pot as I work in a bank I had my first day back at work today, and because I take my lunch to work and I only work in the afternoons I tend to have a no spend day (NSD) so I decided to swop some notes from my purse onto coins, and empty my till of £2 coins, replaced by the notes obviously, (no stealing actually occurred)

In this haul I managed to pick up a few more picture coins so I will be placing them on eBay when the existing lot sells...

I hope this isn't cheating if it is I will not admit it next time hahaha...

I don't consider it cheating. When I use to work in a school I always went down to the office after an event day to see if I could swap two pound coins for notes. There was also someone last year who use to do the same every time the petty cash got some.
Mind you my friend who is also saving them says that I am cheating if I swap them up - she says that I should only count the ones that I naturally obtain under my own steam.

What does everyone else think?

Hubby bought me home two coins today.

No - The challenge is to get as many as possible any which way. It's only my frugality that stops me from changing up the lottery payments each week, I can't afford to put that much away :rotfl:

Anyway, bagged another today taking my total to £46

not cheating. I work in a shop and sometimes if I have £2 coins in the till at till check or cash up I will swap them if I have money in my purse. Most of my coins come as change but a few more never hurt .
