I got an email as well, I will order in time as I have started the WW1 collections, and £5 coins, I am also looking at the new collectors albums which allow you to have space for 2015/2016/2017 coins before they change, although they are out of stock atm.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. Hi All
I started this challenge a few years agoI am still collecting the big shiny £2 coins and have now saved £1874 :eek: I put them in a locked tin and when I cant get anymore in the tin I bank them. In an account just for them.I havent spent any of the £2 coin money so have it saved for a rainy day (or dire need)
Its funny as I couldnt bring myself to spend them even when I decided I was no longer in on the challenge :rotfl:So stayed with it and very glad I did
So I am still here willing you all onHappy hunting
Mav x
Debt free and Mortgage free thank you to all for your encouragement and advice :j
Crazy Clothes challenge £300/£48 and 5 months /0 without spending :T0 -
mav, it'll turn into your pension fund at that rate:D
Well got a £2.00 this morning and that makes ta-da £300.00, which was my target for this year_party_:dance:
Along with the £2.00s from last year I've got £460.00 in my tin. Do I do a mav and keep going....or do I spend it on something a bit off the wall? i did think of buying some physical gold from the Royal Mint. Will think!
I am keeping on saving them for the minute though, it would be great to make the total to £500.00 for the year end.:)0
