You would not be paying anything, until you begin to utilise the data. That is why it is called Pay As You Go. Once you begin, it could cost perhaps £3 to £5 per month, if one doesn't go mad on video streaming.
The cost will be dependent on the Network that you choose and the amount that you are likely to use. How long is a piece of string? You need to give more details of likely usage.
A MiFi is a 'Dongle' that can be utilised plugged in via USB or not in the case of using it in a wireless situation.0 -
Steer clear of vodafone dongle - my best advice! Especially if there is any chance of you not being able to pay your contract.0

It is PAYG...and the recommendation is to unlock it and to use with the best network once the bundled 2GB of data has been utilised. Of course, this is only if the EE Osprey is not available. Try not to post irrelevancies. It only serves to confuse.0 -
So you purchase the Mifi then what? Do you attach it to the laptop through USB or something else? Then, if I did purchase say the EE Osprey 4G pay monthly and 1GB for the month, how much would it cost if it was locked and say that I wanted to unlock it, how would I do that?0

I'll help you further by asking you where else do you think that you will be obtain a SIM Free 4G MiFi for £31 or a similar 3G modem for £26.
Did you understand SIM Free/Unlocked? It means that you are not tied to any network and can therefore utilise any data SIM. That is clearly stated at the end of both posts.
Yes I understand the OPs post fine thanks but as I said if you get a dongle and many people actually still use them, you need to be sure that whatever ISP you use will have coverage for your area...If youcan lie down at night knowing in your heart that you just made someone’s day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day!!0 -
