Can't get card/account number from Barclaycard

I'm just coming to the end of a 24 month 0% interest free period on my Barclaycard, I still have an outstanding balance of just under £2000, so want to apply for the Halifax 0% card and transfer the money, but I remembered that I shredded the card soon after getting it to remove any temptation to use it for purchases.
Now I have a problem as I need the card number to transfer the balance to the new card, my statements only have the first 6 and last 4 digits, the rest are blanked out.
I've spoken to the call centre and explained and they have told me they are not authorised to give me the other numbers. Now I understand it's due to security etc but I went through their endless security checks so they were happy it was me.
So then I said can you send me a replacement card so I can then get the card number from it and they said no!

My question is what can I do? If they won't tell me the numbers on the card and won't send me a replacement card I'm basically stuck, locked into accruing interest.

Can't they send you a reminder of your a/c number in the post?

How do you pay the monthly payments? If you pay via internet banking then your own bank will show the card no. on the bill payment. It might even show on your current account statement.

This. I pay my Barclaycard by Direct Debit and the full account number shows on my bank statement.

If that fails, phone back and say you lost your card.

6 digits of the card number are *** out on the website page where I make payments, and on the paper statements. It's not shown anywhere in full.

It's my own fault for cutting up the card I guess, but I've asked for a replacement card and they said no.

I've called twice to ask and both times have been told no.

I don't mean the Barclaycard statements - check your bank statements where you make the payments from...

As said above, it's available in the current account statements.
Save the environment. Don't order a new card.

Thanks but I know what you meant too, on the bank statement it's just a ref number with the word Barclaycard
