Next VIP Sale slots live!

I ordered some items from Jane Norman a couple of years ago and they stunk of cigarette smoke - so I returned everything - they charged me for the returns and would not accept that the items smelt - one item in particular and that then spread to the others in the same packet.


With regards to the sale my slot was today - everything I wanted was in stock, but they were Lipsey rather than Next.

Proper customers? And the staff aren't proper customers and entitled to the odd perk? Actually the couriers get first pick of the online sale... Staff can choose from their store stock. Obviously as a sale goes on stock gets less. For a few sales I always got 1st slot, then the last 3 years I got the dregs, this time I was lucky enough to have 1st. We can't all get what we want.

Can't understand the fascination/desperation with this sale these days. Used to brave the in store sale when the kiddies were tiny and it was the best place for kids stuff but they are not my only go-to place any more.

Over the past couple of weeks I've been able to get stuff in the clearance which would have sold out on mid-season sale day but it all comes back as people just order things 'coz they can' and then send back what they don't want. None of it was visibly worn or tainted and I'm actually impressed that none of it had to be sent back for having had holes in either (from the store stock where they just rattle through putting the sale tags on and don't care about how they place them on the garment)
