Cheers for all replies, i will give the sandpaper method a go on the clutch pedal as Mcpitman has kindly found me a Brake pedal rubber off amazon, cheers Mcpitman, if you can find me the Clutch rubber too mate i would be most greatful ;)

The Accelerator is pretty ok so im not worried about that.

    Thanks again everyone ;)

No worries according the amazon listing, ther are one and the same (same rubber for both clutch and brake pedal).

  • Are they slippery all the time, or only on wet days?
  • I found genuine renault pedal rubbers online at renault parts direct.

Cheers lads, Mcpitman yeh i noticed it says brake/Clutch too mate, gonna inspect the pedals when home from work just to make sure. Bedsit Bob only when its wet mate, not long had the modus (a month) and foot has slipped twice now off the clutch and the missus foot has slipped once. Smiffy cheers for that mate but price seems steep, obviously i would have to go down the dealers route if there was no other options but Mcpitman seems to have sorted it for me. Thanks buddy.

Sounds more like the soles of your shoes are at fault, than the pedal rubbers.

I've noticed the same problem, when wearing certain types of shoes.

My Dickies safety work shoes are excellent when wet, but my US Brass fashion shoes aren't nearly as grippy on the pedals.

There is a spray on the market, called 'Perfekt Grip''....[probably German?].....that I have had used on wood & concrete/stone, which is prone to becoming slippery [slime?]....may work on pedal rubbers too, perhaps? [made by Ampere]

Rabbit pooh in one's shoe treads doesn't help...either.
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......
