So I finally received a letter from UKPC. I now owe them £100. I've written my appeal letter. Am i better off posting the letter or appealing via their website?0

read their paperwork and do what it tells you , if in doubt and can do both , do so
if sending by snail mail, get a free cert of posting at the PO0 -
You could have some fun with this and cost UKPC a few quid in the process.
Once you have submitted your defense, they have two options -
1- Accept your appeal and not get the £60/100 they wanted.
2- Reject your appeal and issue you with a POPLA appeal code at a physical cost to them of £32.
Either way, they lose.
Btw, you may well want to follow THIS link and print some handy flyers to hand to all your workmates.Never Knowingly Understood.

Is there a union/staff association where you work? If so get them to lobby the management to can the PPC, they serve very little purpose and can cause a breakdown in staff management relations, just as they are affecting supermarkets' profits.
UKPC has been taken to Court by Hull Trading Standards and a barrister who they were harassing, and made to pay dearly for their hubris. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Website, easy peasy. Without a doubt use the appeals webpage as it is actually comparatively good.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

14 days after receiving a letter from UKPC to pay the full £100, i have received yet another letter stating its the "FINAL REMINDER".
The letter goes on to say: "If the court orders judgement against you and payment of that judgement is not made this may affect your ability to borrow money or obtain credit in the future. A warrant may also be issued by the Court's appointed baliff to recover the payment......"
Should i be concerned?0 -
depends if you appealed or not, and also how and when you appealed
if it was by snail mail with proof of posting, they have 14 days to acknowledge and more importantly , 35 days to respond (so about 37 days in total)
if it was on their website, did you get any acknowledgement ?
or did you take a screenshot of the online appeal application ?
if we assume they received your appeal, then its nowhere near 35 days
but keep copies of any proof, in case you need to complain to the BPA0 -

I have not replied yet. Not waiting for the last minute but it has not been 28 days since the first letter I received. Was looking to reply via their website. Problem is there is a 2000 character limit.
I'm surprised they've sent a final reminder as early as this. Should i be concerned by the wording of the letter?0 -
you received their NTK on or before the 28 jan 2015 , so you were told to appeal it and coupon mad mentioned using their website on 29 jan 2015
I am at a loss to understand why you have not yet appealed it
if there was a 2000 character limit and if you cannot ATTACH your appeal , then you should have used snail mail with a free cert of posting from the PO
I am appalled that you have done nothing at all so far since the 28 jan 2015
the clock is ticking down to zero, tick , tick , tick0
