Hi, can anyone tell me whether I can purchase a sky pass for use on the Roku 3

Any help much appreciated.

What do you mean by 'Sky Pass'?

Now TV is available on Roku 3 and you can buy a Sky Sports pass or a subscription to the Entertainment or Movies packages. You can also rent movies from Sky Store.

No other Sky services are currently available on Roku though such as Sky Go Extra.

Do you know if you can buy an actual card subscription or do you have to buy it online? I only ask as it's a gift and I wanted to put it inside a card.

I have a Roku box.

You can buy one of the promotional Now TV "bundles" and use the voucher that comes inside.

(you could keep or sell the separate Now TV box, or you could include it as part of the gift for your friend to be able to watch from a second TV if they have one (one NowTV account can work across 4 devices and you can watch any 2 at the same time))

The bundled passes are not available separately as far as I'm aware, and the account holder would still need to set up with a debit/credit card, which would only be charged if the pass wasn't cancelled before the prepaid period ended.

Unofficially, though, you can just buy the voucher codes via ebay sellers who have split the packs themselves. For example this seller will email you a voucher code instantly for a 3 month entertainment pass. Sports, films and entertainment packs are all abundant on ebay.

If you want a real paper voucher to include in a card, I'd get down to your local Argos who have some decent deals on some of their Now TV bundles. You can always keep the Now TV box for yourself.
