Out of curiosity, do the Telecoms Ombudsman fine/levy a penalty against mobile phone operators when one of their customers raises a complaint against them?
Was wondering how the Ombudsman services are funded, and read something about the energy ombudsman fining companies every time a complaint was raised

The company pays a fee to the ombudsmam for each complaint they accept. Around the time I took T-Mobile to CISAS it was reported as being around £300.====0 -
Oooh... That means I've cost them at least £600 plus the money they paid me!0
