  • If I understand from the link you posted, VISA give the retailer the new details... So they should be claiming on the new card details, not the old ones, which they were given anyway?

    I'm going to go back to my november statement and see if they did the same thing again. The only thing that prompted me to look further this morning was that my IB transactions just said 'POS' with no retailer name and then I spotted the old card number.

    Ho hum. I probably should let it go because they refunded me the duplicate charge and sorted out their records so they have the correct details, but it still really irks me that they can do this.

    I mean, how are people supposed to default on payments now...!!! :-P

    The crux of the matter is you need to cancel the authority with retailer if you do not want to continue with the subscription.
