Buying Skype credit
Hi all,
My elderly dad needs to make calls to Netherlands from UK by mobile. Only maybe 2 per week lasting about 10 mins. I think Skype may be the way to go. Sadly we live 250 miles apart and he has dementia, so I will be buying the credit.
If I buy Skype credit does it have to be allocated to a specific mobile, or can I use any mobile. My dad is in care and does not have a landline.
Thanks

Skype credit is associated with the Skype account. I assume he has a smartphone with a Skype client loaded?
Then he just needs to be signed in to the account that you've put credit on...

It's 4p+1p/min to call to a landline number through 18185 that offer 020 access number.Hi all,

It's a 'credit' account with 18185 paid by a DD or a CPA. You can open it in your name and add as many numbers as you want, including your dad's mobile number.Sadly we live 250 miles apart and he has dementia, so I will be buying the credit.0 -
It's only 3p per minute on a Giffgaff sim, anyone can top up using their webpage.
