The Smart Phone Company - Advice Needed!

Apologies for the long post...
I purchased a mobile phone contract through The Smart Phone Company on 22nd November 2014. They said they would deliver my phone the next day (which I actually received on 26th November). This phone didn't work so I sent it back and a replacement was authorised. (I had to pay for the delivery costs out of my own pocket which I'm still waiting for a refund for).
After sending numerous emails which were mostly ignored and making several phone calls (in which on three separate occasions I was told the phone was "out for dispatch and will be with you the next day"), I finally received my phone on 12th December. (I have also been charged from 26th November which I am still trying to get a refund for).
The reason I ordered a phone through them is because I wanted the 'free gift' (I know they're not free as such, but we needed a new tv and couldn't afford to pay out for one). I was hoping to give the phone and tv as Christmas presents, which is why I ordered with plenty of time. However, I've still not received the tv and every time I contact the company about it, I don't get an answer.
I have told them that if they can't guarantee a pre Christmas delivery (which will have given them 32 days to deliver) I want to cancel my order. I cannot get a response from them so what do I do? Does anyone know what my rights are?

So you didn't need a phone contract at all? There are so many perfectly good TVs being given away to make room for the latest model. Just look on Free cycle or similar.0

I did need a new contract as well. I shopped around and I'm paying an extra £10 per month for the 'free' gift.0

They are owned by mobilephonesdirect if you have facebook you may get a better response through posting on their page ...... although a quick look at some of the stories on there doesn't fill you with confidence https://www.facebook.com/mobilephonesdirectIt's not just about the money0
