Simple question but I can't find the answer online.. I have searched..

Are you allowed to have more than one Santander credit card?

I have a Santander 123 credit card account and my wife and daughter are additional card holders - their cards have different numbers. So I am the only one paying the £2 monthly charge, but obviously I have to pay and there is a single credit limit.


If that arrangement didn't suit you, I suspect there is no bar to you having two accounts provided you can provide Santander with a reason they find acceptable.

Thanks for replying.. I know you can have additional card holders but I want to apply for a different type of Credit Card..

Yes. I have two Santander credit cards.

One a 123 card and the other is a Santander Purchase Credit Card.

They guaranteed me the latter sometime after I opened my 123 credit card account.

My wife and I both have Santander purchase cards (123 and a normal one). However, these latest 0% - (no and low fee) balance transfer offers are very appealing.


I might just send them a secure message.

Yes, I have a O% card which finishes in March I also have a Tesco Card with £1000 on which I used on holiday this year as was free on purchases. I would like to put the two together and pay off just one bill. How do I ask if they will allow this?

I had a 123 credit card and just applied for the balance transfer card which I was accepted for..

No fee on balance transfer for 15 month and 15 months purchase..

You won't be able to transfer a balance directly from one Santander credit card to another.

Have people got immediate acceptance for the fee free balance transfer card? I've had an email to say that I'll be contacted in the next 3 days.....
