In the process of buying a new tower computer. They have reply quickly to my queries. Though the weren't able to change the delivery address to UPS collection point, but they did cancel the order so I can reorder.
Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring

Whilst I've not used them for quite a few years now, I did use them when I self-built my previous tower system and found them good - the monitor was DOA and they quickly dealt with the RMA (delivered replacement and collected duff one at the same time).0

I've also had quite good customer experience with Scan in the past in precicely the way bod1467 describes.0

Yep. Bought loads of stuff from them over the years and always been impressed.
Once I got a big Samsung monitor and wasn't impressed by the viewing angles. There wasn't anything technically wrong with it. Refunded no problem.0 -
If you have a few forum posts with certain forums (Hexus and *I think* AVS forum?) then you get free delivery. (Is that still a thing? I haven't bought from them for about a year.)
Their "Today Only" page often has some bargains - note that the prices on the Today Only page do not match the price on the item page, so you'll have to use the Today Only page!Q: What kind of discussions aren't allowed?
A: It goes without saying that this site's about MoneySaving.
Q: Why are some Board Guides sometimes unpleasant?
A: We very much hope this isn't the case. But if it is, please make sure you report this, as you would any other forum user's posts, to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
I had a PC built by them. Excellent service. I had a problem with the motherboard ( a unique problem they hadn't had before) and they took the machine back, did a lot of tests and upgraded me to a better board at no cost. I find them very professional.0

I currently am not that happy with them.
I ordered a PC yesterday, the 16th September for delivery Monday 21st September, according to the website.
Now they email me and tell me.
1/ that one part isn't available and would I like an alternative, not a complete disaster but still annoying as no mention of out of stock when I ordered.
2/ it is scheduled to start being built on the 25th September and due for despatch on the 30th September.
However going to my order tracking, shows under collection/delivery...collection, this is despite the fact I paid for delivery and the invoice says carriage cost.
On the website today for the same PC, shows expected delivery to be Tuesday 26th or Wednesday 27th September. Clearly a lie.
I see on their Facebook page, I'm not alone in having a 5 working days, turn into a much longer time.
I've emailed them earlier, about the change of part, but have yet to have a reply.
Regretting going with them already, I'll give me another 24 hours, to reply, or I'm cancelling the £2k order.0 -
My impressions haven't changed. I'm still completely unimpressed by them.
My computer arrived after a further delay, but arrived faulty, despite the fact it was meant to have all these so called quality and performance checks. It was sent back a week and a half ago and I still have no PC, that I expected to be using a month ago.
Very shoddy service and they won't be getting my business again.0
