Got the final bill this morning, all paid!
It even included the charge for the upcoming year of ground rent (and a portion of the upcoming service charge as well), at least that's all paid for then!0 -
Curious_Badger your situation is running very parallel to mine its a bit spooky.
I received the 'completion statement' from my solicitor this morning with all the final amounts and it had all the seller related costs attached too. It was around £200 more than I expected based on the original quote but my land registry fee was higher due to new lease and the service apportionment charge was included (I am yet to work out whether that goes toward buildings insurance or not as I have a 50% share of the freehold!)
Still on for completion of mine friday, hope yours goes well tomorrow.
I too was shocked that my bank didnt even query my near £20,000 deposit being sent in one go online !!0 -
our solicitor forgot to take the £500 deposit offDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
