Jobcentre want to see bank statements

Get a new basic bank account sorted out urgently. That means that you can stop paying the ridiculous fees at the cheque cashing centre.
And it will clear up the problem with your ESA as it looks like you have a joint account with dad and access to his money. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
The Job Centre have no right to see her fathers information.
It is not a joint account, you do not have a bank account, so do not have bank statements to show them.
To show them your expenditure only show them the withdrawal from you dads account and any receipts for cash expenditure you have built up over the last 3 months.
The receipts from the Cheque cashing place would also be worth bringing if you have them.
You cannot show them what you do not have - you can only explain the situation
The receipts from the cheque cashing place are irrelevant. The OP's JSA goes to a bank account and the JCP need to verify the details of that account. I expect that if the OP redacts the statement without prior agreement the JCP will suspend the claim until an unredacted version is seen, or agreement otherwise is reached.
OP, the JCP are not going to care where your father spends his money. They are likely to be suspicious if you present a statement covered in Tippex! Discuss your concerns with them beforehand, otherwise you risk having your payments suspended.0 -
As long as you can show the exact same amount withdrawn in cash shortly after the money goes in, I don't think there will be one bit interested in how your father spends his money. What I would do though is refuse that they keep any of it.0

A recipe for disaster OP don't take this advice,if your father didn't want to be involved in your financial affairs he shouldn't have allowed your money to be paid into his account0 -

And how is the op going to convince them that the tippexed out entries on the bank statements are nothing to do with her?
What daft, paranoid advice. It's just being obstructive for the sake of it.
If the father's bank dealings are so dodgy that they can't be seen then maybe the daughter shouldn't be getting money paid into his account?
But I'm sure common sense will prevail. Oh, and op, why not sort your own bank account out now, why wait till after Christmas?0 -
OP please do not tippex anything. Don't you realise how that will look? These people are paid to pick up benefit fraud so tippex will raise red flags
You and your father have nothing to hide, so why act like you do?0 -
What a bizarre situation, benefits paid into someone elses account and HB payments cashed at money shops, all very odd. There will be more to all this, sure to beBlackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0
