I don't know. I'm perfectly happy on my own the vast majority of the time and have been quite happy to say I'll see what happens when it happens - which I am doing - but who/what I really want I genuinely couldn't tell you. Just enjoying time with this one as we have enough in common to understand and enough differences to make it interesting.

As well as the running he rides motorbikes and works with them and is in to caving so picks up injuries from all of the above.

I've never met someone who is willing to swim with me who can actually swim like me - most of my friends think swimming is a nice relaxing chat session and the two long term boyfriends hated it - actually spoke to the ex who's still a friend last night after the swim he's got back in to his canoe stuff and needs to learn to swim better made me laugh how worried about it he sounds.

Anyway am getting ready for work shortly, then need an early night so I can get to the tri in the morning!

Is there any distinguishing feature of the times you're not happy on your own?

Then perhaps this is what you want?

What did you have when you were at your happiest?

So what concerns you so much about the friend zone then?

Given that in a canoe, your swimming should mostly consist of "not drowning", the fact *that* needs improving would probably worry me too...

Usually its because work sucks and I have no time for my friends - so goodness only knows how having a bloke around would help!

For now it could well be.

Happiest...time to myself, and no money worries.

Mostly because after 5 dates we've barely touched, not kissed and I'm generally having as much fun with him as I do my best friends the main difference being I'm attracted to him and not them!

He's a special case that one, once went on a coasteering/sea swimming weekend and didnt remember until he started swimming how bad he is at it.

No time because you're busy, or no time because you CBA?

It's compulsory for them to have their ear bent. They expect it... ;)

"Time to yourself"? How much time? Almost all? Or just some?

You'll just have to invade him slowly. Like everyone does to Poland...

And don't give me "but I'm shy stuff..." :p

    "Nearly drown? Not memorable..."

You would have thought a head like that, would have been a touch buoyant...

Generally because of a lack of time.

Well trying to do it quickly isn't going to work, he can run away considerably faster than I could chase. And to compound my confusion he's suggested we have breakfast next week before one of my late shifts as it's his day off.

Yup, he's a definite special little sunflower! Terrible boyfriend though.

You've got no time, because of a lack of time?

    Circular definition: See definition, circular.

Well I know, why don't you try asking the question: "You have remembered this is a date haven't you?" - tone and inflection entirely up to you.

Not after a nendurance event like this morning I don't!

By the way 2hours 18 mins for the tri. Not too bad for wetsuit compulsory, no training and slightly longer bike and run routes.

Spent the afternoon recovering and drinking wine.

You probably should try that training thing from time-to-time... ;)

You'll have to get blokey trained up in massaging for just such events.

Just going to relax for the rest of the evening?
