You weren't interested after I went for coffee two weeks ago.....

That was coffee - this is dinner... ;):p

Her bloke dumped her out of the blue earlier in the week. If I'd not been working at the hotel I'd have driven up and spent the week with her.

That's a bit of a shame. No explanation?

Dinner was good, a couple of drinks in a pub afterwards were good, the company was good. :p

Not enough of one but then is there ever?

Well that's rather the idea....assuming he survives coming to the lake to swim tonight.

Weird night at work, guest gave me his business card and said if I'm interested he's going to be looking for staff for a new holiday park next year (I'm probably not because he thinks I'm a very young barmaid, not a 30 something doing a parttime job for extra cash).

Got a lovely early shift in the morning so am just doing a load of washing so it can be dry by the time I get home midafternoon and have half an hour to pack for my flight to scotland Friday evening.

At some point I also need to call vodafone to complain about the fact I'm getting texts anything from 3 to 6 hours after they were sent after a hotel shift (I assume because of the horrid signal in the area).

Why does he think you're a very young barmaid?

What have you been saying..? ;)

Tonight was the last swim event at my local lake. I did the 1500m as planned - no idea of my time. Then found the bloke lurking and went to swim a lap with him, which he enjoyed so much he carried on and did a second lap while I let my poor tired arms recover a little. We decided to go find some food so ended up in Nandos for a good hour longer than we were eating for as once again we were happily chatting away.

I've been saying nothing, he was asking where my accent was from and I'd said it's a bit mixed up and mentioned how long it's been since I first moved down to Surrey, and he didn't think I was old enough to have been here that long.

I'm going to do the Great Scottish Swim at Loch Lomond (my event this time is 2 miles). And some drinking. and likely getting quizzed by my friends about bloke creature.

Train ticket booked for the Gatwick journeys and my boarding cards are printed.

Just got to pack within the 10-15 mins I'll have at home after finishing work and needing to leave to walk up to the station - thankfully I can get the train 30 mins later and still have enough time but not as much as I'd prefer to have.

I think I may have have too much to drink....wine by the pint, and 2 hours sleep before my swim on Saturday morning made it a little tough - although I did swim it within the time I was hoping for - target was 1 hour 30 mins, actual time was 1 hour 25 mins. Then some sleeping, lots more drinking in the evening and a day out on Sunday - went over to the Kelpies, then in to Glasgow to see Dory and some more drinking.

The quizzing wasn't too bad. Going for a day out with him tomorrow since we both have the day off work.

Day out was gloriously sunny which was handy since we went to the coast and spent a ridiculous amount of time on the 2p arcades, wandering around the seafront and generally chatting and laughing lots again. The downside is I at least have caught the sun slightly - put some aftersun on my face and currently looking for the normal one for my shoulders and chest.

Was planning to cycle to Tesco for food for dinner than realised the time and that it'd be almost dark by the time I was heading home so changed my plan to cycling a 2 mile loop and popping in to the Express store and I'll do some proper shopping tomorrow on my way home from work (after a visit to job 2 to check the rota).
