Nothing much happened today, was too cloudy to see the sun never mind the eclipse, and my foot is still sore (and no noticable sign of the swelling reducing), work was much the same as always with fewer shoes - still more comfortable to not wear them, so they spent much of my shift by the kitchen door.
On the upside I've requested a £10 paypal redemption from Perk. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Got my work rota written. And promptly forgot to make myself a copy so I can meal plan for this week. I *think* I have to actually feed myself for at least 4 evenings this week, which is going to do my food budget no good at all.
Have a voucher for a free box of chocs from the Lidl facebook page so will pop in there on my way out of work tomorrow afternoon and get some more milk. I think I have a ready meal in the freezer box so will plan to defrost and eat that tomorrow night (unless I can bring a portion of Sunday lunch home with me).
I do need to do a load of dark washing as thats the bit I failed to get done the other day, can't remember how many clean pairs of work trousers are left in the cupboard but if I can get away with it I'll leave the washing until my day off (Wednesday I think), in the hope that the weather will be decent and I can get most of it hung out to dry like I did this week. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Brought Sunday lunch home with me for dinner, so have the ready meal for tomorrow.
Also need to wash white clothes now as I managed to drop coffee down myself first thing this morning.
Picked up the chocs in Lidl, milk, sugar as its on my list of things I need if I'm going to start making flapjack for myself again, and they had a bluetooth heart rate band which is something I'd been thinking about getting for a while, had some of Lidls workout kit in the past and its been decent so going to give it a go, did a 15 min kettle bell workout with it on earlier it seemed to pick up and work ok but going to have to take it out for a run a couple of times to see how it works when I'm not relatively static.
I've also been for a swim, 32 lengths of a 33m pool, took over an hour as I was with one of the girls from work and we were chatting too but it was good to get in the water. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Washed the white's last night, ironed a shirt this morning and still have two to sort out and put away. Chucked a load of towels in just to get the swimming stuff cleaned before it starts to smell.
Might have sold the dining table, someone is coming on Wednesday to have a look/pick it up.
Also £3 from a survey panel landed in paypal ready to be withdrawn. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

£13 spent in Mr S. I'm being lazy so fajita kit, chicken, mushrooms*, peppers, an onion, corn on the cob* for dinner, and a loaf of toastie bread*, english muffins*, and a box of cans of coke as I fancied some and I'm better getting cans than bottles and they were on offer.
*these items were all yellow stickered.
Still trying to sort out where I'm going to keep the bike, getting no where with finding space on the bike racks in the carpark so am looking at something like a storage bench I can put outside the house under the meter boxes, but again I need to speak to the maintainence people to see if that would be ok, as it would only be on the walkway and not fixed in place I hope they'll allow it (albeit I'd want to have it pretty heavily weighed down just to be sure). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Walked in to town and back as the weather is nice.
Came home with a hammer so I can put up the mirror thats been sat on my floor since I moved in, and the new Ikea shelf unit. Chocolate eclairs, and cheese. Yup entirely sane and sensible shopping...... Cost me a whole £5 for everything.
Been home about an hour and done one load of washing and have it on the airer in my porch with the front door open, and a collection of bins and my recycling box outside with warm water and bleach. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Washing came in about 1730 as I was feeling cold and it was looking gloomy outside. It's all hung up on the staircase now and ought to be dry enough by morning to pop it in the airing cupboard and finish it off.
I've put the mirror up, remembered while I was hanging it that I still need to glue one of the mini mirrors back on to a spoke, so next time I go near a shop I need to look for some superglue.
Dinner was nice and quick, microwaved the remaining half of last nights fajitas, so just need to fry up the other half of the pack tomorrow and thats dinner for Thursday and lunch Friday (Friday and Saturday are lates at work so should be fed there).
Rearranged the freezer box so I could fit the loaf of bread and muffins in to it.
Not built the Ikea unit, there appear to be no instructions in the box, luckily its the same as one I bought at Christmas so I can find that set (or guess, it's relatively simple). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Ahh it doesnt feel like its been a productive day though, was lunchtime when I woke up and I may have felt a little bit hungover (apparently opening and consuming a bottle of Prosecco alone is unwise....who knew).
Getting in to town and back was time consuming, but thats to be expected when you're walking a 5.6 mile round trip.
Hows the radio volunteering going? It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
