No 70 reporting an OP for August of £114. I doubt I will make this year's target but I am saving more so it balances it out a bit.

Hi Lomcevak, I've made a couple of small OPs over the past week or so totalling £105, taking my August total to £1,805.

I would LOVE to get this up to £2,000 but it might be a stretch!

    Thanks!

#104 with Aug OP of £270 - more to follow each week :)

Good news on my side!! My husband has received a huge promotion at work and has had approx. 55% pay rise (not including overtime rate!). Having this hopefully means we can smash the mortgage even quicker than 5 years and ill be mortgage free just after my 31st birthday  :j

All the best to everyone - love seeing this thread busy; every penny overpaid means less to the banks overall, keep it up! ;)

    Thanks Lomcevak x

    ^^ Thank you :D.

Although it would be nice to have all that extra money now - I know its best used on the mortgage. Our kids are 3 & 3 months so hopefully when we are mortgage free it will be around the time the kids start school/reception, then me and husband can have some quality time together doing the things we want to do (cinema, lunch out etc) - and we'l enjoy it more without a mortgage tied around our necks.

This thread is huge motivation
