Hi all,
Dragged my snotty nose round Ald! this morning - spent £24.79
Little bit more than I intended, but treated DD to her beloved Haloumi and there were some sausages at 30% off which will make TITH on Sun.
Still got £12 from my first half of my 'cash only shopping fund' - I withdrew £150 on 1st/2nd Jan.Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
£300/£1300 -
Found a loaf of bread in the boot of the car this morning. OH must have bought it a few days ago and forgotten to lift it out! No freezer space at all and I bought a loaf yesterday, so not sure what to do with it except present it to the kids with the kilo jar of Nutella I bought in Lidl yesterday (£3.99 for the jar, great value if you have kids that live on the stuff and it makes delicious brownies!)
You could use it to make a bread and butter pudding or a bread pudding. Both of which will use up at least half a loaf.

£43.50 spend for me in the supermarket this week. Under budget but that is because I stocked up on cat food and cat litter before Christmas. I knew that I had plenty of food in for us, but wanted to be sure I didn't have to battle through the crowds and any bad weather to feed the purry monsters.
We're still fairly well stocked up. I've just moved some winter store cupboard stuff into the main food cupboard but I'd say I have at least another two months supply of pasta left (maybe more). Lots of other stuff too. As there is also room appearing in the freezer I made lasagne last night, and was able to freeze two meals each for ds and I from it as well as having yesterdays dinner.
I haven't used fabric conditioner for years as when MrC was alive he said it made the towels feel wrong. To be honest I'm not sure that I would notice a difference if I did use it now. Lack of it doesn't affect the feel of our clothes, or the durability and as the small person has patches of eczema now and then, it's probably better that I use as few things on his clothes as possible.0 -

My NSD turned into a spend day this morning when I noticed 500g Lamb Mince reduced at Mr T's! Was planning on HM Doner this weekend so it couldn't have been better timed. Picked up 2, but didn't it click until I'd left the store that it was on the 2 for £7, 3 for £10 promotion. I saved an extra £1 by buying 2 (making them £1.86 each), but totally kicking myself for not picking up 3.:T Weight Loss (Start Weight 14st 12lb): 5/24 lbs :T
