NOTE TO SELF: Do not send the boys to the shop for any grocery items!

I forgot peppers in my shop on Wednesday but had promised everyone fajitas today. I offered to change it to curry but the boys (12&14) offered to nip down the c*op for them.. I gave them £5 and asked them to bring me the change as needed it for clubs.

I got £2.00 change!! The peppers cost £3, well the peppers along with sausage rolls and chocolate!!!!!

    I will update sig shortly

Hmm... 'trose just offered me £25 off a £60 spend.

I'm just off to check the status of the freezer... I may be gone some time.
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Miss Try To Save Have you ever thought of doing a second purse. What I sometimes do, when I want to stock up, eg on laundry liquid etc., I don't add it into the budget, but put a price sticker on it and when I start to use it, will add to that months budget.

SaveDosh, does anyone still post on the Second Purse Thread???

  • Just on to update sig, spent $20 on fruit, veg and cat food.

Another warm day predicted for today, it was 34 degrees here yesterday, went outside when DH was hosing the roof, trying to reduce the heat inside, some of the water was going onto the sunshade over the deck, so I stood underneath and got a very fine, misty cool spray of water, it was lovely.

    Have a great day
    Cheers

Just had salmon for tea with water cress, radishes, red & yellow tomatoes and cheese sauce. Really enjoyed it. Am on some medication and it makes me feel very nauseous at times so meals are not huge.
