Isn't YNAB expensive to buy though?

It's easy to find a 10% discount code which brings it down to $54, or £34 to you and me! I reckon it's saved me that already and then some, but if you're already organised with your money there might not be much benefit. If you're anything like me i.e. useless at budgeting, living payday to payday... it might help.

TBH, it's not much more than a fancy spreadsheet, with a phone app and Dropbox integration, so it could be done in Excel if you're good at it. If in doubt, they do a 34 day free trial.

  • Hello and thanks for taking over this years challenge Pablosammy.

I'd like to join again please (any number is fine). I've got no more payments going out now til January 1st, so next years target is:

    £4683

This should doable since I've cleared 5K this year. I'm hoping to be debt-free by Sept-Oct 2015. Exciting (but tough) times ahead!

    Good luck everyone :)

Fantastic - love the new thread thank you Pablosammy.

Please could I keep my original number from last year - it was number 58?

My target for 2015 will be - £10,400 please. Even though my remaining debt is less than this amount I'm not planning on clearing it because I have just transferred most of it to a 34 month 0% credit card so I am going to make some mortgage overpayments this year as well.

    Many thanks:)
